The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English & Literature Teacher to teach across middle and high school (Grades 6–12).
The successful candidate will also take on the role of Coordinator of the English section, contributing to the pedagogical leadership and development of English teaching within the school.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher looking to combine classroom excellence with leadership responsibilities in a bilingual and international context.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

  • Deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons across middle and high school
  • Prepare students for the demands of the BFI program
  • Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a love of literature
  • Support students in achieving high academic outcomes

Coordination

  • Lead and coordinate the English section across the school
  • Ensure curriculum coherence and progression across grade levels
  • Support and mentor teaching staff within the department
  • Contribute to the development of teaching practices aligned with international standards

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in English, English Literature, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Significant experience teaching English and Literature at secondary level
  • Native or near-native English proficiency
  • Experience in international curricula or bilingual settings
  • Experience with or knowledge of the BFI (Baccalauréat Français International) is a strong advantage
  • Ability to take on coordination and leadership responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
  • A collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset
