Mr Adrian Barlow, Cambridge Inspector for English Language and Literature from 2004 – 2014, was admitted to the Ordre des Palmes Académiques for services to international education on Monday 14th December. Mr Barlow has played a key role in ensuring the equivalence of the OIB English Language and Literature examinations with British A Levels and was instrumental in the development of the recent OIB English Language and Literature curriculum. We are grateful to Mme Manes-Bonnisseau, Inspectrice générale en anglais, for decorating Mr Barlow with the medal on behalf of the Ministre de l’Education Nationale, and to Mr Joël Bianco, proviseur du Lycée International Saint Germain-en-Laye, for hosting the ceremony.
